Agricultural Waste to Energy Interest in Islamabad, Pakistan

A letter of interest for the establishment of Sindh's first biomass fuelled waste to energy (WtE) power plant has been issued by the Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) in Islamabad, Pakistan reported The Express Tribune.

The 12 MW plant will operate exclusively on agricultural waste and the project is jointly sponsored by investors from the United States and owners of Al-Abbas Group.
