Waste to Energy Project to Harness Organic Fairground Waste

A farmyard fairground usually means a big day out for the family and an even bigger amount of waste generated through leftover sweets and cakes, not to mention vast mountains of animal dung.

But a new group of researchers in the U.S. is hoping to find out whether such waste would be suitable for conversion to renewable energy, according to Reuters.
